Whole-genome sequencing revealed that they showed ?100% average nucleotide identity to each other, ?98.53% to the T. thermophilus strains originating from the same spot but ?97.64% to the T. thermophilus strains from geographically different places in Japan.Bacillus safensis 3A was isolated from a contaminated estuarine sediment sample with mine tailing from the Samarco dam disaster, which occurred in 2015 in Minas Gerais State, Brazil. We report here a draft genome sequence (3.6?Mb) of this bacterial strain. B. safensis exhibited strong resistance to heavy metals. Here, we report the near-complete genome sequence and the genetic variations of a clinical sample of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) harboring the N501Y mutation assigned to the B.1.1.7 lineage. The sample was collected from a nasopharyngeal swab of a female patient from Temara, Morocco, and the sequencing was done using Ion S5 technology.Carp edema virus disease (CEVD), or koi sleepy disease, is caused by CEV. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of CEV strain FTI2020, isolated from koi carp. This sequence information has great potential for improving our understanding of the genetic characteristics of this piscine poxvirus.Gluconobacter is a genus of acetic acid bacteria (AAB) whose members have been shown to function as insect symbionts. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Gluconobacter cerinus, isolated from field-collected Drosophila suzukii using a hybrid assembly approach. The data provide essential insights into the metabolic functions of the symbiont to the host. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Limosilactobacillus fermentum strain NKN-51, which was isolated from naturally processed yak cheese from the western Himalayas of India. The genome was assembled in 101 contigs with a total length of 1,879,705?bp and a GC content of 53.5%. Genome annotation predicted 1,730 protein-coding genes and 50 tRNA genes. The whole-genome sequence of the type strain Mycoplasma (Mesomycoplasma) hyorhinis DSM 25591 is reported and compared to the available sequences of the corresponding type strains from other strain collections to ascertain conformity. Knowledge of the identity of type strains is of importance for their application in standardized test systems. We have de novo assembled and polished 61 Staphylococcus pseudintermedius genome sequences with Nanopore-only long reads. Completeness was 99.25%. The average genome size was 2.70 Mbp, comprising 2,506 coding sequences, 19 complete rRNAs, 56 to 59 tRNAs, and 4 noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), as well as CRISPR arrays.Xanthomonas fragariae is the causal agent of angular leaf spot of strawberry. Short-read sequences were generated for two X. fragariae strains with different virulence phenotypes on the Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform. These genome sequences will contribute to a better understanding of pathogen evolution and the genes contributing to virulence in X. fragariae. The genus Limnospira includes cyanobacterial species used for industrial production of dietary supplements and nutraceutical agents. The metagenome-assembled genome of Limnospira sp. strain BM01 from Big Momela Lake, Tanzania, was 6,228,312?bp long with a GC content of 44.8% and carried 4,921 proteins and 52 RNA genes, including 6 rRNA genes.EFGrKN and EFGrNG are new Enterococcus faecalis phages that were isolated from sewage samples as part of the Israeli Phage Bank (IPB). The complete genomes were sequenced, analyzed, and deposited in GenBank. According to their lytic activity in vitro, it seems that these phages have a potential to be used in future phage therapy treatments.Actinobacteria represent a large source of diverse bioactive compounds of medical and economic importance. Here, we report the 8.8-Mb draft genome of the marine bacterium Streptomyces spinoverrucosus SNB-032. Bioinformatic sequence analysis proved similarities to known Streptomyces strains and revealed the capacity for the production of various secondary metabolites.Anaerostipes caccae strain L1-92T is a well-known butyrate-producing bacterium that has been isolated from human feces. In this announcement, we present the complete genome sequence of A. caccae strain L1-92T, which comprises 3,590,719?bp with a G+C content of 44.30%. The genome harbors 3,369 predicted protein-coding genes. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Klebsiella grimontii AT013-Mero-001, which was isolated from feces from a sepsis patient treated with meropenem. This isolate is an antibiotic-susceptible but persistent Enterobacteriaceae strain. Here, we present the draft genome of Bacillus sp. strain IGA-FME-2. This paper reports a survey that was undertaken by the European Association for Palliative Care Task Force on mapping palliative care provision for prisoners in Europe. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/gdc-0077.html The Task Force was established to begin to address the gap in research knowledge by exploring prison systems and care provision across different countries.
The survey, developed by the Task Force Steering Committee, consisted of 40 questions in six sections. It was completed through online searches; only data that were publicly available on the internet were included. Numerical data were analysed using descriptive statistics, and thematic comparisons were made of free-text data.
The survey was completed for eight countries Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, England and Wales, France, Portugal, Scotland and Slovakia. Three main findings are reported here healthcare and palliative care provision in prisons, deaths in custody and compassionate release.
